Carmen?! Four male dancers and no female Carmen The success production Carmen?! will be in HDC’s repertoire from 2011. Carmen?! is danced by four male dancers and is a mixture of different things: humour, murder, soldiers, roleplaying, underwear, passion, crazyness and Carmen. The score by Schedrin was originally made for Maya Plisetskaija and when she saw this version she invited Carmen?! to her festival in Russia. It has been in the repertoire of e.g. Finnish National Ballet, Carte Blanche in Norway, Royal Ballet in Stockholm, Danza Contemporanea de Cuba, Skånes Dansteater in Malmö and everytime it has been performed it has been a great success.
