What would you like to do with Helsinki Festival and Helsinki Dance Company?

Helsinki Festival in co-production with Helsinki City Theatre is commissioning a new dance work by a choreographer based in Finland. You can start applying today, please visit Helsinki Festivals’s web page for more information. The last day of applying is Monday August 2nd.

You get six dancers from HDC, the rehearsal space, some money and technical help with the production. The premiere will be during Helsinki Festival 2011 and the space is Studio Elsa.

The jury consist of the choreographes Marjo Kuusela and Kenneth Kvarnström and the director of Helsinki Festival, Erik Söderblom.

The decision will be made in September 2010.
